The Birmingham Particle Physics Masterclass

The National Particle Physics Masterclass
at the University of Birmingham

Wednesday 17th April 2013

A Masterclass reviewing and illustrating some of the latest developments in particle physics research will be held at the School of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Birmingham, on the above date. It will be part of a national series of masterclasses, supported by the Institute of Physics. The National Particle Physics Masterclass gives sixth form students the opportunity to relate their classes to fundamental research.

Groups of sixth formers studying physics are invited to come along with their teachers. Take a look at this web page for some further details.

Bookings can be made using this form (also available in PDF format). Unfortunately, the number of available places is limited, so early booking is advisable to prevent disappointment.

For those not able to be present, a live webcast like last year's of the discussion with Birmingham physicists at CERN is expected to be available.
