Search for Charged Current Coherent Pion Production by Neutrinos at SciBooNE

Dr Morgan Wascko (Imperial College)

Abstract

As we enter the era of precision neutrino measurements, the need to improve neutrino interaction cross section measurements is paramount. The SciBooNE experiment at Fermilab uses a fine grained tracking detector to make precise neutrino and antineutrino cross section measurements on carbon nuclei. I will present SciBooNE first measurement, a search for charged current coherent pion production.
