Title: New forces coupling to intrinsic spin

Abstract
I will give a brief overview of laboratory searches for new macroscopic forces (beyond the standard model) coupling to instrinsic spin. I will describe progress on an experiment near completion in Birmingham that searches for violation of time reversal symmetry on a macroscopic scale. Such an interaction could be due to the exchange of axion-like particles.
