Title: Phenomenology of Large Extra Dimensions

Speaker: Prof. Graham Ross (Oxford)

Abstract
The theoretical basis and motivation for large extra space dimensions is discussed. Such theories lead to many new observable phenomena associated with the Kaluza Klein modes characteristic of new compact dimensions. The experimental tests for new dimensions in the case these are of macroscopic dimension are reviewed.

Particle Physics Seminars take place in room B03, Physics West, on Wednesdays at 1315, unless listed otherwise. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served at 1300.
