Title: Discrete Symmetries in Neutrino Oscillations

Speaker: Dr Paul Harrison (Queen Mary, University of London)

Abstract
The phenomenology of neutrino oscillations in the general three-family case is reviewed, with particular emphasis on the violation of the discrete symmetries CP and T. Theory is confronted with experiment, and a particular form for the lepton mixing matrix emerges, which, within the exerimental errors, exhibits three discrete symmetries. The future prospects for more precise tests of these symmetries are summarised.

Particle Physics Seminars take place in room B02, Physics West, on Wednesdays at 1315, unless listed otherwise. Tea, coffee and biscuits are served at 1300.
