Title: Charmed Meson Spectroscopy at BELLE

Speaker: Dr Yoshinari Mikami (Birmingham)

Abstract

(Abstract in pdf)
In the past a few years, new narrow Ds mesons are discovered in unexpected mass region around 2.32 GeV/c2 and 2.46 GeV/c2 by BaBar collaboration and CLEO collaboration. I will review the property analysis of those new states which are studied by BELLE collaboration. This analysis based on the data accumulated by e+e- collision around Ypsilon(4S) resonance squareroot(s)= 10.6 GeV with using KEK-B accelerator and BELLE detector. An interpretation will be discussed that they are consistent with JP = 0+ and JP = 1+ states respectively.

This Particle Physics Seminar will take place in Seminar Room 2 (room 106), Physics West, at 1315. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served at 1300.
