Title: HERA-II Physics and Present Status

Abstract
At both the Zeus and H1 detectors at HERA 27.6GeV electrons are collided
with 920GeV proton beams, offering insight into the structure of the
proton and a unique testing ground for rare processes and physics beyond
the standard model. The recently completed Hera-II upgrade offers a
substantial increase in delivered luminosity and polarised electron beams
as a tool to further constrain quark/gluon structure in the proton.
Hera II has made significant progress in understanding the behaviour of the new machine and reducing backgrounds to an acceptable level and is collecting it's first set of new data now.
